JST Coaching. LLC Data Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us, and JST Coaching, LLC is committed to protecting your personal information. In this policy, we are letting you know about the ways we collect and use your information, so you can make an informed choice regarding whether you will visit this website.

What Information Do We Collect?

We collect your name and email when you subscribe to our email newsletter. When you order a product or program on this site, we collect your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number. Your credit card information and/or banking account information is held by our payment processors, Shopify, PayWhirl, Stripe or PayPal and we do not have access to that data.

How Do We Use Your Information?

We use your name and email to send you periodic emails, including email newsletters and occasional business announcements and updates. If you buy a product or program, we use your mailing address and your phone number to process your transaction. We may use your phone number and/or email to contact you about your order.

We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart, and to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction, so we can optimize our website and create a better user experience for you.

How Do We Protect Your Information?

We use various security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information, including hosting your name and email using a password-protected, secure service. This service keeps your information confidential, will not sell or share your information, and will not contact you directly.

We also use Shopify, PayWhirl, Stripe or PayPal as our payment processor, which store your private financial information (credit card numbers and banking account information), as per their agreement with you. We do not have access to your financial information on Shopify, PayWhirl, Stripe or PayPal.

We will not trade, share, or sell your information to any other company, except that we do share your information with specific third parties who assist us in taking care of you.

Sensitive Data

We do not collect any Sensitive Data about you. Sensitive data refers to data that includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data. We do not collect any information about criminal convictions and offenses.

Cookies

We may automatically collect certain data from you as you use our website by using cookies and similar technologies. A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site.

It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.

Data Retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Under the GDPR, data controllers (i.e., businesses using personal data) should not retain personal data for any longer than necessary. Furthermore, the GDPR gives data subjects rights to require the erasure of their personal data (also known as “the right to be forgotten”).

Access to Your Information

You may request access to your information, including updating or correcting your personal information, by contacting us via our contact e-mail below. At the time of your request, we may need further information from you to verify your identity before we will provide access to your information.

How Do You Unsubscribe?

If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include the one-step unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

Your Legal Rights

Under data protection laws you have rights in relation to your personal data that include the right to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, transfer, to object to processing, to portability of data and (where the lawful ground of processing is consent) to withdraw consent. If you wish to exercise any of the rights set out above, please email us at jodi@jstcoachtraining.com.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive or refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it

We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you.

By using this site, you consent to the terms of this privacy policy. Updates to this policy will be posted on this page. The last time this privacy policy was updated was December 10, 2020.
