Life Coach Credentialing

All JST Coaching & Training programs are accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE-Global). Each trainee must complete an individual application and meet the requirements as stated on the ICF or CCE-Global website.

Each of the credentialing organizations has different requirements. Every applicant is required to complete a specific number of coach training hours, mentoring hours, client coaching hours, provide documentation and complete written and/or oral exams.  This can be a confusing process so we are available by appointment to assist you in better understanding the details and choosing the right course for you.

At JST Coaching & Training, we provide a certificate of completion for each of the courses listed below which indicates the specific credit hours for each training. Graduates of Empowering Students Through Coaching can apply for an ICF ACC credential upon successful completion of both the in-class and self-study portions of the training.

Coach training programs are offered worldwide in a variety of formats and coaching models.  It is valuable for coaches-in-training to complete both life coach training (non-ADHD specific) and ADHD/EF coach training.  There are also options for becoming a credentialed life coach.  You are encouraged to talk with other coaches and to investigate the options for credentialing.

Please be aware that not all coach training courses are approved for core competency hours as required for a coaching credential. We have provided the credit hours below to assist you in choosing a course that meets your needs for credentialing or a credential renewal.
