Elizabeth Ahmann, ScD, RN, PCC, NBC-HWC is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation and a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She is Professor of Health and Wellness Coaching and the Departmental Curriculum Manager at Maryland University of Integrative Health. Additionally, she is the Research Director at Springer Institute. Dr. Ahmann brings to her coaching and training a background in nursing, public health and academics as well as a strong evidence-based focus. She maintains an active research agenda.
Dr. Ahmann trained with JST Coaching and Training some 15 years ago and has been coaching youth and adults with ADHD ever since, through her business Pathways Ahead. She has received additional coach training through MentorCoach, Fast Track Academy, Laser-Focused Coaching, and Wellcoaches, among others. Dr. Ahmann is also committed to a holistic and evidence-based coach approach in her teaching and advising, valuing the self-determination it fosters in students.
Her personal interests include both fabric and paper arts and hiking – most recently she backpacked 500 miles on the Appalachian Trail and joined her daughter on a number of stunning hikes in Iceland.
