DEIB & Resource Coordinator
Joy Gardner is a JST training graduate of Empowering Students Through Coaching. In her private coaching practice she specializes in supporting children and adults seeking assistance with goal achievement, behavior modification, academic achievement, executive functioning (those skills needed to live, work and learn on a daily basis) and challenges often associated with ADHD.
Joy joins the coaching profession with a broad range of experiences and proven success in several areas – corporate management, non-profit leadership, and her true passion, K-12 teaching and administration. During Joy’s tenure in education, she mentored new and struggling teachers and provided one-on-one guidance and support to students with learning differences and/or struggles with motivation. She provided ongoing support to students with various challenges, both academically and behaviorally, and helped create classroom and organizational environments in which students from varied backgrounds and cultures achieved high levels of success.
As the DEI&B (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging) & Resource Coordinator, Joy furthers the team’s mission to provide industry, ADHD and DEI&B resources to newly trained and experienced coaches. Additionally, she helps create a welcoming and culturally sensitive environment where differences are valued and respected.
